Harley Davidson came to Digital Frames Direct looking for a number of point of sale displays for desktops in their aftersales areas. After the work we had already done with Peugeot, Mercedes Benz, Stratstone, Chevrolet and Volvo, Harley Davidson knew they had come to the right place for digital point of sale.

Each digital photo frame was printed with the Harley Davidson logo, and was matched with printed Harley Davidson USB memory sticks. The 12″ Super Clear was chosen as the optimum size, and the finished units can be seen in Harley Davidson showrooms around the country.

Peugeot – Table Top Digital Point of Sale

Peugeot came to Digital Frames Direct looking for a way to advertise their new cars in their showrooms.
Sample units were sent out, and the popular 10.4″ Memory View Digital Photo Frame was chosen for this role.
Digital Frames Direct had each frame screen printed with the Peugeot logo in the bottom right hand corner,
and a promotional video was uploaded onto each digital frame.

Suzuki – Digital Point of Sale Stands

Suzuki came to Digital Frames Direct looking for a point of sale unit for their after sales areas in each Suzuki showroom. We took our current 19″ digital photo frame and created a floorstand specifically for Suzuki. The digital point of sale stand sits 1.3 metres from the ground at eye level. The stand is made from Pressed steel with four weighted feet to add extra stability.

Each screen was then sent to each Suzuki showroom by Digital Frames Direct complete with a pre loaded USB stick with content ready to play as soon as the digital photo frame is turned on. If you are walking by a Suzuki showroom you can still see each frame in the after sales area.

The digital frame has been around for years now and has developed in a number of ways.

First the digital frame was all about displaying your digital images on a screen for your living room. As time has moved on Digital Frames have become better in resolution, and larger in size. Firstly the digital frame came in 7” and 8” sizes. Now they come in 10”, 12”, 15” and 19” sizes and are wall mountable making them more and more like picture frames.

Prices have come down as well. The digital frame started at £150 for an 8” digital frame. This amount of money now will buy you any 15” digital frame, all with high resolution 1024×768 screens.
